This is a week for Kidney Disease...
If you’re an Aussie,
Head to Lowes and buy some red undies.
Why?
53 Aussies die each day from kidney-related illness.
Kidney disease is the 10th biggest killer of Australians.
Dialysis and transplant services cost
the health system about a billion dollars a year.
Amazingly, you can lose up to 90%
of your kidney function
before you even realise that you are sick!
Sounds serious!
Better splash out and wear some red undies!
